VDT reaches more Nigerians with internet access

VDT, a leading broadband service provider with expertise in Enterprise Wide Area Network, WAN and Metropolitan Area Network, MAN, using Fibre Optic and Wireless access network, on Tuesday, July 2, officially launched its   retail data network – 4G LTE Advanced service.

The launch is expected to offer internet speed of up to 300Mb/ss (megabyte per second) into the Nigeria market with a new wealth of experience for retailers.

Managing Director, Biodun Omoniyi stated at the Oriental Hotel launch that given that “dependent on internet is growing as a result of the vital role it plays in peoples’ life,” what VDT is offering “is affordable and easy to access. We have solved reliability challenges in the banks. We have expanded to 30 cities in Nigeria. VDT is designed to bridge the gap in the market place and help consumers LIVE THE LIFE. It is the future.”

Funsho Oyeniyi, a subscriber confirmed Omoniyi’s submission by testifying at the launch event that in the six months he has subscribed to VDT network, he has not experienced failure. “VDT is super fast and works well. It is fantastic,” he said.

Engineer Lateef Onikoyi, another subscriber testified that he watches all channels-Netflix, YouTube etc on VDT without hitches.

Mr. Johnson, a pastor and Lagos State Traffic Management Agency staff who got the device two months ago at Igando part of Lagos said “It is very fast,” even as Fasheun Gbolahan, another subscriber said “VDT has cured all his “headache” associated with using other networks.

VDT, an lSO 9001:2015 and the lst ISO 20000:2011 Internationally certified Telecom Company in West and Central Africa, is known for the provision of premium quality services to enterprise customers. It successfully acquired a broad channel 2.3GHz Spectrum 5 years ago from the Federal Government through Bitflux Communications Limited; a consortium which VDT is the principal partner.
