<p>The stage, at last, is set for the final showdown in the November United States of America presidential contest.</p>



<p>On Friday, former vice president Joe Biden clinched victory in the Democratic Party race. He is expected to battle  ;President Donald Trump in the election.</p>



<p>Biden said “It was an honor to compete alongside one of the most talented groups of candidates the Democratic party has ever fielded – and I am proud to say that we are going into this general election a united party.”</p>



<p>According to information obtained from Associated Press, the democratic candidate passed the 1,991-delegate threshold required to seize the nomination.</p>
