Unknown gunmen invade popular Islamic cleric’s home in Lagos

Some yet-to-be identified gunmen have reportedly  stormed the home of popular Islamic preacher, Abu Mardiy Oniyawometa Kewudirorun At-Thaqoofy.

The incident happened on Friday afternoon at Ikorodu area of Lagos.

Oniyawometa of Al-Madrasatu An-Nabawiyah is a notable figure on social networking service, Facebook, where he regularly makes addresses.

He is a Sunni Muslim who often tackles Tasawwufs.

As of press time, it cannot be ascertained if the young preacher was harmed in the reported attack.
