Unauthorized  Deduction: ASUSS Kwara Chapter Drags NUT, Others To Industrial Court

Unauthorized  Deduction

 

OpenLife Nigeria reports that the Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools, Kwara chapter, has dragged the  Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) to Industrial Court over unauthorised checks of dues from her members.

Others joined in the suit are Kwara State Teaching Service Commission chairman, Ministry of Finance, Kwara State Head of Service and the State Attorney General.

ASUSS has officially withdrawn from NUT since September 2020 but unauthorised checks of due are still being deducted from ASUSS members.
