Udom Emmanuel, Akwa Ibom Governor, congratulates Obaseki, Shaibu, urges Ondo to embrace PDP

&NewLine;<figure class&equals;"wp-block-image size-large"><img src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2020&sol;09&sol;Udom-Emmanuel&period;jpg" alt&equals;"" class&equals;"wp-image-5053"&sol;><&sol;figure>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Udom Emmanuel&comma; the executive governor of  Akwa Ibom State&comma; has congratulated Governor Godwin Obaseki on his victory in the Edo 2020 governorship election&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The governor also extended the congratulations to Philip Shaibu&comma; deputy <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">governor of Edo<&sol;a> State&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Governor Udom Emmanuel described the September 19 re election victory in Edo as well deserved&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>In a congratulatory message by his media aide&comma; Ekerete Udoh&comma; Governor Emmanuel thanked God for a peaceful and credible election in Edo&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>He drew similarities to what happened last year in Akwa Ibom State&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote; Last year&comma; the good people of Akwa Ibom State rose in unison and said no to godfatherism&period; They also said no to the much touted Federal might&period; Akwa Ibom people  declared their fidelity to the supremacy of our <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">ONLY GOD<&sol;a> in the Affairs of man&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Today&comma; our brothers and sisters&nbsp&semi; in Edo State have replicated the same wholesome faith and belief in God&period; This faith dwarfs the boastful exuberance of ordinary mortals&period; They voted &nbsp&semi;to return a leader who best represents their values and ethos&semi; a doer and not a talker&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;On behalf of the Government and the good people of Akwa Ibom State&comma; I join our brethren in Edo to congratulate our Brother&comma; His Excellency&comma; Governor Godwin Obaseki&period; He has secured Edo peoples’ trust to superintend&nbsp&semi; over the affairs of the State for another four years&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;As I have always said&comma; a good job delivered well&comma; means more job to be done&period; I have no doubt that you will step up to the plate and deliver big time for the Edo people&period; Let me also congratulate  our great party&comma; the<a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;guardian&period;ng"> PDP<&sol;a> and of course&comma; the INEC for a job well- done&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Similarly&comma; &nbsp&semi;I urge the good people of Ondo State to embrace PDP in the October 10 election for good governance&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;
