Tonto Dikeh Reveals Tumultuous Past: “I’ve Joined a Cult and Worked with Demons”

OpenLife reports that Nollywood actress turned evangelist, Tonto Dikeh, recently shared a powerful testimony about her troubled past during the Women of Fire Prayer Conference in Tanzania, organized by Rose Shaboka. In a heartfelt address, Dikeh opened up about the period in her life when confusion and uncertainty led her down dangerous paths.

“I’ve dipped my hands in so much filth and dirt, I’ve joined a cult, I’ve worked with a demon so hard,” she admitted, describing the dark choices she once made in her quest for direction. The revelation left the audience visibly moved, with many applauding her transparency and courage to confront her past.

Dikeh recounted that while she had strayed into unhealthy spiritual practices, she eventually experienced a profound divine encounter that changed the course of her life. “I know who he is, and I know that he doesn’t have anything for me anymore,” she stated, underscoring her decisive break from demonic influence.
Her transformation, she revealed, came as a direct response to God’s call.

“Today God said… I’ll take you back and clean you up. I’ll put you on altars to preach my gospel,” Dikeh said, highlighting her renewed purpose and mission.
The event, which also featured ministers Jerry Eze, Funke Adejumo, and Halida Allice, drew worshippers from across the region.

Tonto Dikeh’s testimony serves as a beacon of hope, showing that even those who have wandered into darkness can find redemption and restoration through faith.
