Tinubu’s Campaign Group Educates Supporters On Voting Methods

OpenLife Nigeria reports that the campaign group of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has embarked on voters’ education exercise for the February 25 presidential election.

In a release cited by OpenLife, the group admonished Tinubu’s supporters and loyalists to arrive the voting venue with their PVCs on election day to avoid errors that will count against APC in the election.

According to the group, supporters should endeavour to wait and monitor the counting of the votes by officers of the Independence National electoral Commission, INEC .

The statement titled 2023: Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Voters Education,” reads in full:

Dear country men and women.
The election to chose Nigeria’s president and President Buhari’s successor holds on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

Former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the Presidential candidate of APC. Senator Kassim Shettima is his running mate.

What to except at your various polling units

(A) The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will make use of the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System, BVAS.
It is a device to check and confirm the information of voters through Fingerprint and Face scanning.

(B) The accreditation of voters will start by 8am and ends at 2:30 pm. After that, voting will begin.
Kindly endeavour to be there as early as possible to join the queue.

(C) On the ballot paper, you will see the Broom logo of the All Progressives Party, APC. Make sure you thumb-print with you index finger very well on the space provided to enable your vote count.

(D) Protect your votes by waiting till the votes are counted.

(E) Voters accreditation will begin early.
So be there on time to be accredited and vote the Broom logo.
Tinubu and Shettima’s faces will not appear on the ballot paper. So look for Broom logo
