Tinubu-Shettima Support Group
OpenLife Nigeria reports that the Tinubu-Shettima Grand Alliance Scotland, United Kingdom, TSGA, a Tinubu-Shettima support group in Scotland United Kingdom and the Scotland, United Kingdom chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, will hold a mega campaign awareness conference to promote the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential ticket in the 2023 election scheduled for February next year.
The convener of the support group who is also the chairman of the APC Scotland U.K chapter, Dr Abubakar Alkali, stated this in a statement made available to journalists.
The mega event tagged ‘A Diaspora Awareness Campaign on the Tinubu-Shettima ticket for a New Nigeria is expected to hold on Saturday 14th January 2023 at the Inchgarth Community Centre, Aberdeen Scotland U.K at 2 pm.
Dr Alkali stated that the objective of the Tinubu campaign awareness conference is to sensitise Nigerians in Scotland U.K on Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s laudable programmes aimed at creating the New Nigeria of our dreams if elected into office in the next Presidential election. The event according to Dr Alkali is to further shed light on how Nigerians in Scotland U.K can key into the Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Presidential campaign and ensure victory for Asiwaju.
According to Dr Alkali, the Tinubu/Shettima grand alliance Scotland U.K (TSGA) plans to make positive contributions towards the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the next President of Nigeria and will unfold details of its
‘1 to 10,000’ phone-in campaign mobilisation strategy during the conference.
The ‘1 to 10,000’ campaign mobilisation strategy is meant to ensure that each member of the support group in Scotland U.K mobilises at least 10,000 votes through phone calls from Scotland to Nigeria during the election.
Dr Alkali further stated that a call centre will be opened by the Tinubu/Shettima grand alliance Scotland U.K in Aberdeen Scotland to serve as the hub for the ‘1 to 10,000’ phone in campaign for the Tinubu/Shettima Ticket.
The mega event has Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the chairman of the occasion while Hon (Arch) Ibrahim Almustapha Aliyu will be the guest of honour. The APC national chairman is expected to be the father of the day.
