Tinubu merits North’s supports in the 2023 presidential contest
OpenLife Nigeria reports that as the 2023 general elections draw near, Honourable Aminu Suleman says Bola Ahmed Tinubu merits all the supports to be Nigeria’s next president as it is a pay back time for Tinubu.
This is however, contained in a statement made available to OpenLife Nigeria.
According to the statement, the Director General of Tinubu Support Organisation Hon. Aminu Suleman, has said that the entire north and its people are behind the presidential aspiration of APC National leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to Suleman, all the governors and the political leaders in the north have resolved to work hard in order to ensure that Asiwaju Tinubu takes over from President Mohammadu Buhari come 2023.
Speaking further, Hon. Suleman said the north owes Tinubu a debt of gratitude because Buhari tried three times to become president, but was unsuccessful until he (Tinubu) came into the picture. Now it is only fair to reward Tinubu for all that he has done for Nigeria.
The DG was speaking at the commissioning of an ultra modern educational ICT Youth Training Center Constructed and donated to the people of Itire-Ikate in Lagos State by Hon. Niyi Amir Gbodimowo, who is also a chairmanship aspirant in the forth coming local government elections in Lagos State.
Speaking on the ICT center, Suleman, called on rich young Nigerians to emulate Gbodo Foundation and Niyi Gbodimowo because such a project is one that brings all round development to the people. He said that if all Nigerian youth can copy such, then the nation will be great with an even greater future, even as he promise to mobilize northern governors and youths to emulate such.
The commissioning was attended by dignitaries, top government officials as well as thousands of people who troop out to watch and celebrate the location of such an important project even as the Itire-Ikate area stood still.
Among the dignitaries who were in attendance are the Lagos State Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mr. Agboola Dabiri and the former Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Uzamat Akinbile-Yusuf, the executive chairman of Itire-Ikate LCDA Dr. Ahmed Apatira who was represented by Engr. Murley Anochirim.
Others include a representative of federal government college, Ijaniki old student association Mr. Olufisayo Ogundawo,who expressed happiness in the achievement of one of their own whom he describes as a humanitarian and natural leader from their school days.
