Tinubu 2023: London Visit And Alleged Reps Honorarium

Tinubu 2023 and London visit
OpenLife Nigeria reports that just as the signal gets clearer for former governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu to return to Nigeria after several months of health attention in London, the daily traffic of visits to his England recuperating home has increased tremendously.
The endless visits to mark the London get-well register by top business and political Nigerians has become a standard factor for 2023 solidarity.
Tinubu is rumoured to be interested in 2023 presidency and over time, his body language has accentuated the political temperature so much so that those who know the depth of his pocket are falling in line ahead of the big show.
Among those that have visited the recuperating political tactician is President Muhammadu Buhari.
On Friday, a delegation of the northern caucus in the House of Representatives, led by the Deputy Speaker, Ahmed Wase, were in London to see Tinubu.
House Majority Leader, Alhassan Ado-Doguwa; Chairman, House Committee on Rules and Business, Abubakar Fulata; Chairman, House Committee on the Army, Abdulrazak Namdas; Blessing Onuh, daughter of former President of the Senate, David Mark; Sada Soli were among the other Honourables.
Dressed in Kaftan and a red cap, Tinubu was quoted to have said. “Because of God and people like you, I am well. It is just the physio (physiotherapy) that is gruesome.”
According to an insider, the honourable members were allegedly offered honourarium to support their flight cost and hotel accommodation “It was a Tinubu 2023 political support. The delegates have promised to mobilize northern votes for him during the presidential primaries. I am not sure of the exact amount but of course it cannot be less than $10,000 per Honourable,” the source disclosed.
However, an inquiry message to Tunde Rahman for a confirmation of the honourarium in London was not replied as of the time of writing this report on Sunday.
Those who had earlier visited London were House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; Governors Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Rotimi Akeredolu (Ondo), and Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti).
The list includes a former governor of Ogun State and incumbent Senator representing Ogun Central, Ibikunle Amosun; former Governor of Borno State and Senator representing Borno Central, Kashim Shettima; and member representing Gubio, Kaga and Magumeri Federal Constituency of Borno State, Usman Zanna.
Also on the list are Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat; Chief of Staff to Lagos State Governor, Tayo Ayinde; Deputy Chief of Staff to Lagos State Governor, Gboyega Soyannwo; Special Adviser to Lagos State Governor on Education, Tokunbo Wahab; former APC National Legal Adviser, Muiz Banire.
The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Adetokunbo Abiru; Senator Adeola Solomon from Lagos West; Senator Opeyemi Bamidele from Ekiti Central; Senator Adelere Oriolowo from Osun West; and Senator Mohammed Sanni from Niger East also visited the ex-Lagos governor in London.
