OpenLife Nigeria reports that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has assured his supporters not to worry over the attacks of opponents in the 2023 presidential election.
Seen in a video, speaking to a large audience, the former governor of Lagos State said:
Why do you have to worry about them? Just wait for the calendar, the day of voting…. and dig their grave and dump them there,” Tinubu assured.
It would be recalled that preparatory to the 2015 general elections that ushered in the APC led federal government, former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, had admonished his supporters not to take laws into their hands saying his presidential aspiration was not worth the shedding of the blood of Nigerians.
On the contrary, before then, Muhammadu Buhari, at a time, told the public that “baboon and monkeys would be soaked in blood if he didn’t win election to become Nigeria’s President.
Tinubu who is said to be an expert in identifying talents and has nurtured great leaders , some of who are playing great roles in government, won a keenly contested APC presidential primary election some months ago.
The trained accountant is currently not resting on his oars to sell his candidature to voters in Nigeria and supports from overseas.
Some political analysts are of the strong belief that Nigeria, under Tinubu, would enjoy profound improvement.
