Ekpo explained that for years, he carried the burden of believing he might be responsible for the couple’s inability to have children. That belief led him to seek medical answers, undergoing tests in an effort to understand what he thought was a personal health issue.

“I am 48 years old, I don’t have a kid, I started going for tests because I thought I was the problem, I thought I had fertility issues.”

According to him, the reality later proved to be far more complicated. He said he eventually discovered that his partner had been taking contraceptives, a revelation that shifted his understanding of their situation and raised concerns about honesty within the relationship.

“After 11 years in marriage, I woke up to videos and pictures of my wife on Instagram getting married to another man.”

“I don’t even care if he loves me or not because wetin love do for me beside stress me, he isn’t taking care of me as a man should. He isn’t satisfying me sexually, he isn’t spoiling me, he isn’t anything good, I am just very irritated by him. I have been coping with unsatisfying s*x for years.”
