Sir, on December 16, 2024, there will be conferment of Mayor Ndigbo on Chief Dr. Chidi Anyaegbu. How did you feel when you got the news?
I feel the same like every other reasonable Igbo man and woman all over the world.
I am part of the committee. This is because of my closeness to Chief Chidi Anyaegbu {Chisco} and the confidence he has in me as a grassroots person in leadership.
You see, Chisco has one particular behaviour that is not common in Nigeria. The worse you can do to yourself is to go to him to blackmail anyone in pursuit of favour.
Or you try to present yourself superior to any other human being that is created by God.
You will just make him to hate you.
If you tell him any negative story about someone, he will tell you that you are the one who has something in common with the person. So, for him, he can only talk about someone he is close to.
Chidi Anyaegbu {Chisco} is a born leader.
Above all, he is a multi billionaire in any currency you can think of. But very accessible to all class of people both small and big.
No matter the kind of problem you bring to Chisco, he must assist you as far as it has nothing to do with criminality.
You can’t approach Chisco with anything that has to do with criminality. So, it is congratulations to all Ndigbo and Nigerians generally. Now, we are having a leader who nobody can corrupt with money.
He has been working with almost all the Heads of State from General Abacha till date.
The current President has been his friend since when he was working in Exxon Mobil before he even became the governor of Lagos State.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu can give the story of Chisco more than any other Lagosian.
Chidi Anyaegbu is one of the Nigeria’s businessmen who have no criminal records till date either corruption with government or dealing with individuals.
His real estate business has extended to Canada, UK , USA and other parts of Africa. His transport business has extended to many African countries. But yet, his humility cannot be over emphasized.
