TB Joshua’s Wife, Evelyn, Reportedly Supports Peter Obi
OpenLife Nigeria reports that Pastor Mrs Evelyn Joshua, wife of the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Senior Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua who died in 2021, has reportedly thrown her supports behind the presidential aspiration of Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party,LP.
Mrs Evelyn TB Is the current General Overseer of the SCOAN, a pentecostal church headquartered in Lagos and branches across Continents.
The church also has members spread across the world in millions.
According to the information, TB Joshua’s wife reportedly said “I will give Peter Obi 8 million vote from my church. I never endorsed any political candidate before. But Peter Obi is more than a political candidate. He is a movement under who Nigeria will be great again,” the statement quoted.
While evaluating what could have ignited such humongous support for Obi, some public affairs analysts aver that the supports may not be unconnected with tribal consideration given that the respected Pastor hails from Igbo speaking part of Delta State.
Conversely, some submitted that Tinubu and some All Progressives Congress, APC leaders have extended supports to the woman of God and the church before and after the death of the founder of the church and had expected reciprocation in the 2023 general elections.
Meanwhile, the church is yet to react to the information as a message sent to the mobile number of the spokesman of the church has not been responded to
