TB Joshua’s Humanitarian Efforts Unmatched, BBC Documentary In Bad Taste—Comrade Ikuesan

TB

OpenLife Nigeria reports that Comrade Ade Ikuesan, a foremost human rights and labour activist, has condemned the sponsored BBC documentary against late Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua and his church, the Synagogue Church Of All Nations, SCOAN.

A BBC documentary, arising from an investigation into allegations of sexual assault, physical abuse, fabricated miracles and trauma purportedly suffered in the hands of late Prophet TB Joshua, was released on Monday.

The documentary has no fewer than 25 eyewitness testimonials including one Agomoh Paul, who said that TB Joshua was interested in enslaving not just Africans but also Westerners and targeted them with miracles.
Speaking to the BBC’s Africa Eye, Paul noted that he was very close to the late prophet.

I was very close to him. I was just like the number two in the synagogue church of all nations. There are certain things he told me personally that I know many of the disciples never knew.

He knows exactly what he wants to achieve. He had a special interest in the Oyinbo the whites,” Agomoh Paul said.

Reacting, Comrade Ade Ikuesan described the documentary as “sponsored,” aimed to diminish the ever green humanitarian and doctrinal legacies of the late prophet.

Comrade Ikuesan questioned the objective of such documentary saying that more of such damaging documentaries would enhance the humanitarian and spiritual legacies of TB Joshua in the global space as well as in the hearts of millions of people he positively touched their lives while on earthly ministry.

Ikuesan, who recently assumed office as the General Secretary of Motorcycle Operators Union of Nigeria, MOUN, noted that unfounded allegations against Prophet TB Joshua are not new.

“He was persecuted while alive and none of the allegations was ever substantiated. Even in death, he is still being demonized.

“No man can destroy the legacy of Prophet TB Joshua which the wife has effectively moved forward to the jealousy of the enemy.

“And for those acting as if they are in custody of keys to Heaven, I challenge all them to give to humanity half of what Prophet TB Joshua gave which the wife and the church have continued,” the Comrade requested.

Comrade Ikuesan however cautioned the media and its practitioners to be wary of the antics of some anti Africans who have developed an unholy penchant to denigrate the legacies of some of the best from this continent.

“Don’t feast on the BBC’s unsubstituted stories. If it was one of their own that elevated Christian ideology to the level TB Joshau attained, would they have feasted on any negative report by Africans on one of the best?

“I therefore urge our media practitioners to exercise caution in feasting on the BBC documentary that is not only unwarranted but in bad taste,” Ikuesan advised.
