<p>The Soun of Ogbomoso Oba Jimoh Oyewumi (Ajagungbade 1) is dead.</p>
<p>The monarch passed on at about 1:25 am on Sunday.</p>
<p>Oba Oyewumi, a successful trader, reigned for several decades on the throne of his forefathers.</p>
<p>He was said to have taken ill in the past few weeks before succumbing to the cold hands of death Sunday morning.</p>
<p>As at the time of filing this report, several indigenes and sympathisers were thronging his palace to condole with his family.</p>
