<p><em>Seyi Makinde, executive governor of Oyo State laments the abuse of social media</em></p>
<p><strong><a href="https://openlife.ng/">OpenLife Nigeria</a></strong> reports that governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State is currently unhappy over the abuse of social media.</p>
<p>The youthful governor whose Oyo State has been the epicentre of herdsmen hostilities expressed his lamentation when he stumbled on an untrue.<br />
Commenting on his twitter handle, the Seyi Makinde said</p>
<p>“When I was going to Sasa with the visiting governors, a governor showed his phone with a social media post that over 6,000 people are about to leave Oyo State. When we investigated who wrote this, the person resides in the UK,” he disclosed.<br />
Seyi <strong>Makinde</strong>, who is a frontline promoter of Amotekun, however admonished Nigerians to desist from such unwholesome acts capable of creating fears amongst the people.</p>
