Seyi Makinde, executive governor of Oyo State laments the abuse of social media
OpenLife Nigeria reports that governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State is currently unhappy over the abuse of social media.
The youthful governor whose Oyo State has been the epicentre of herdsmen hostilities expressed his lamentation when he stumbled on an untrue.
Commenting on his twitter handle, the Seyi Makinde said
“When I was going to Sasa with the visiting governors, a governor showed his phone with a social media post that over 6,000 people are about to leave Oyo State. When we investigated who wrote this, the person resides in the UK,” he disclosed.
Seyi Makinde, who is a frontline promoter of Amotekun, however admonished Nigerians to desist from such unwholesome acts capable of creating fears amongst the people.
