Seychelles President, Wavel Ramkalawan, Strengthens Anti Corruption Campaign With New Appointment
OpenLife Nigeria reports that President of the Republic Seychelles, Mr Wavel Ramkalawan, on Sunday, announced the reappointment of the Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission of Seychelles, Ms May de Silva, for a second five year period commencing on 16 March 2022.
This is in accordance with Sections 6 (1) and 6 (3) of the Anti-Corruption (Amendment) Act 2021 and after having received the recommendations of the Constitutional Appointments Authority (CAA).
Ms de Silva’s terms and conditions of service shall be as prescribed by the Regulations under Section 19 (2) of the Anti-Corruption Act 2016.
