OpenLife Nigeria reports that the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in Osun State will hold its governorship primary election tomorrow March 12 at the NULGE EVENT HALL Olosan Junction, Ogo-Oluwa, Osogbo.
In a statement released by the State Chairman of the party, Dr Sola Oladeinde, the party said all is set for the primary election with four aspirants jostling for the party’s ticket in the July 16 governorship election in the state.
Among the contestants are Honourable Rasaq Taiwo Adejumo, former Chairman, Odo-Otin Local Government Area during Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola tenure in the state.
In the contest also is Architect Goke Omigbodun a clergy and Proprietor of school in Osogbo.
While another notable educationist and business guru, Dr. Gbenga Afeni is in the race, auto dealer, Mr. Ajao Abdulwaheed Ayo makes the list as the fourth contestant.
According to available information, the primary will be conducted by the Electoral umpire from the National Headquarters of the party while INEC and other security agents will be present.
Oladeinde promises that the primary election will be free and fair.
