Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium comes alive over major events slated for November 12 and 13

OpenLife reports that Obaseki Godwin’s inauguration as elected governor of Edo State for another term of four years holds and Super Eagles qualifying match hold at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.

Obaseki Godwin’s inauguration will hold just few hours to the Super Eagles’ 2021 AFCON qualifier against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone.
The soccer encounter is billed to hold at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City on November 13.
These two major events have provoked further attention on the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
During campaign, Obaseki had told the world
his unassailable efforts at transforming the stadium into a world-class facility.
Governor Obaseki’s Special Adviser on Media and Communication Strategy, Crusoe Osagie, has reaffirmed the readiness of the state to host the teams and lovers of football.
“Players and supporters alike will be treated to one of the best sporting facilities in the world,” he assured.
The sports facility currently features Video Assistant Referee technology.
