<h4>Rumbles In Tinubu&&num;8217&semi;s 2023 Camp<&sol;h4>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>OpenLife Nigeria reports that as the clock ticks and the 2023 presidential primary election of the ruling All Progressives Congress&comma; APC is just days away&comma; there seems to be lots of rumbling and outright betrayal in the camp of Bola Ahmed Tinubu&comma; a leading presidential hopeful&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Insiders are saying that the political tactician who has been visiting State delegates may been banking on emptiness&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Specifically&comma; those in the know are pointing at  Senator Kashim Shettima who they accuse of misleading Tinubu with false hope&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>What has however&comma; given credence to these allegations was the visit of Rotimi Amaechi last Sunday&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Governor Babagana Zulum who received the immedriate past Transportation Minister who was in the State on Sunday to canvas for delegates votes&comma; revealed how Borno would vote during the primary election&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>During the conversation&comma; governor Zulum made it clear to Amaechi that delegates voting pattern would only be decided by President Muhammadu Buhari and no one else&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Borno state delegates will vote based on their conscience&period; But again&comma; our leader&comma; general Muhammadu Buhari&comma; is very important in this political equation&comma;” he said&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;We are still waiting for him to tell us what to do and we will follow&period; His advice is very important so we have to wait for his advice&comma;&&num;8221&semi; he said&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Meanwhile&comma; Senator Shettima who represents Borno Central has consistently assured Tinubu of wholesale votes from delegates ostensibly from a convincing angle that he controls the Borno State political machinery&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Over time&comma; the Senator has argued that Tinubu stood by Buhari when northern establishment including top Generals went all out against him&comma; adding that in 2023&comma; Asiwaju should be supported and be voted for&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Speaking with OpenLife Monday evening&comma; a serving House of Representatives member from Borno State said that Shettima&&num;8217&semi;s assurance to Tinubu of delegates&&num;8217&semi; votes is &&num;8220&semi;illusionary&period;&&num;8221&semi;<br &sol;>&NewLine;The Reps member who does not want to be publicly quoted said&colon;<br &sol;>&NewLine;&&num;8220&semi;What governor Zulum said is the truth&period; All of us know Buhari is not supporting Tinubu and Borno will take final instruction for the President&period; So&comma; why is Shettima still giving him false hope&quest;&&num;8221&semi; He asked&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;

Nollywood Actress, Shine Rosman, Raises Alarm Over Alleged Sexual Harassment In Lagos OpenLife reports that Nollywood actress Shine Rosman has spoken about what she describes as ongoing incidents of sexual harassment affecting women in parts of Lagos, particularly in Yaba. She said the issue is widely known among residents but remains unaddressed. “Do you know how bad sexual harrssment is in Lagos? Like go to Yaba, as a girl and see how you will be touched inappropriately. Everybody hearing this knows that it is true. But till today, nothing is being done about it.” She described what she claims are repeated incidents of inappropriate contact in public spaces without consequences for those responsible. “You’re walking in Yaba and people are touching you inappropriately and nothing will happen.” Rosman questioned the absence of effective intervention and raised concerns about personal safety in such environments. “If the government is not going to do anything, is it not ok for us to defend ourselves? In 2026, in a country like Nigeria, s+xual har+ssment is still one of the most passive things.” She also raised concerns about the implications of such behaviour occurring in open public spaces. “If a man can s+xually h+rass you casually during the day, what do you think he can do behind closed doors when no one is looking?”. The comments were made during an interview with Tolu Afilaka, where she discussed women’s safety in public areas of Lagos.
