Ronke Nurat Okunade Resumes As 31st Commissioner In Charge Police Special Fraud Unit Lagos

<h4><strong>Ronke Nurat Okunade Resumes <&sol;strong><&sol;h4>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">OpenLife Nigeria<&sol;a><&sol;strong> reports that CP Ronke Nurat Okunade has assumed office as  the 31st Commissioner of Police in charge of Police Special Fraud Unit Lagos on 9th of April&comma; 2025&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>This followed the retirement of CP Godwin Ayotunde Omodeinde&comma; on 4th of April&comma; 2025&comma; according to a statement signed by DSP Ovie &period;K&period; Ewhubare&comma;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Police Public Relations Officer&comma; Police Special Fraud Unit&comma; Ikoyi-Lagos&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>According to the statement&comma; CP Ronke Nurat Okunade&comma; hails from Ogbomosho in Ogbomosho North Local Government Area of Oyo State&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>She holds a B&period;Sc in Psychology from the prestigious University of Ibadan&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>She enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force in 1992 as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police and upon completion of training&comma; she was first posted to Ondo State Command where she began her police career and did her one year mandatory attachment&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>During the course of her illustrious career&comma; she has served in different positions such as&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>-Commandant Provost Department&comma; Force Headquarters Annex&comma; Lagos<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>-2ic Kawo Division&comma; Kaduna State Command<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;vanguardngr&period;com&sol;">-DPO Apapa Division&comma; Railway Command<&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>-DPO Apata Division&comma; Oyo State Command<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>-CSP Admin&comma; Ondo State Command<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>-Acting Area Commander Ebute Meta&comma; Railway Command<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>-AC Admin Lagos Command<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>-DC Admin FCID Annex Lagos<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>-DC Admin Cross River State Command amongst other numerous postings&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Upon her elevation to the rank of Commissioner of Police&comma; she was the Commissioner of Police in charge of General Investigation FCID Annex&comma; Lagos&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>She has attended various courses within and outside Nigeria including&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>-Citizenship and Leadership Training<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>-Police Mobile Force Combat Training<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>-Intermediate Command Course &lpar;ICC&rpar;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>-Human Rights Course<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>-Strategic Leadership and Command Course &lpar;SLC&rpar;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>-Comprehensive Criminology Management Course<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>-Community Policing Course&comma; and is a Fellow of the National Institute for Security Studies&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The CP&comma; who was warmly received by officers and men of the Unit&comma; in her remarks thanked the Inspector General of Police&comma; IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun&comma; for the opportunity given to her and assured of her commitment to ensuring that the Unit maintains a high level of professionalism in tandem with extant laws&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>CP Ronke Nurat Okunade&comma; further calls on members of the public and relevant stakeholders to render their support and cooperation to the Unit in the course of discharging its duties&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
