<h4>Robbers Rape Female Passengers</h4>
<p><a href="https://openlife.ng/"><strong>OpenLife Nigeria </strong></a>has reliably gathered that armed robbers, on Tuesday, suucesfully raped two female passengers on the ever busy Makurdi-Otukpo road in Benue State.<br />
Among other victims in the robbery operations which lasted for hours was a journalist, Aar Terna Amos, who is the Benue State correspondent of the National Record Newspaper.</p>
<p>According to the narratives, the attack occurred on Tuesday at about 9:pm along Naka-Makurdi road, few kilometers from Makurdi, the Benue state capital when the passengers who boarded vehicles from Otukpo to Makurdi, ran into the robbery scene.</p>
<p>Aar further disclosed that the robbers successfully raped two female passengers in the operation which lasted for hours without any security intervention.</p>
<p>He said the robbers numbering about 10 also collected their phones and other valuables on them while threatening to kill anyone who do not have a handset or money on them.</p>
<p>According to him, the robbers maltreated some passengers who later begged for their sim cards.</p>
<p>He said, &#8220;We took off from Otukpo at about 7:30pm because there was no passengers at the park because of the increment in transport fair as a result of the high cost of fuel.<br />

<p>He explained that it was at that point that the robbers struck.</p>
<p>It would be recalled that Naka Divisional Police Officer (DPO), was ambushed and killed on the same road and there have been series of armed robbery scene and banditry attacks on the Naka-Makurdi road in recent times.</p>
