<h4>Robbers Rape Female Passengers<&sol;h4>&NewLine;<p><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;"><strong>OpenLife Nigeria <&sol;strong><&sol;a>has reliably gathered that armed robbers&comma; on Tuesday&comma; suucesfully raped two female passengers on the ever busy Makurdi-Otukpo road in Benue State&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Among other victims in the robbery operations which lasted for hours was a journalist&comma; Aar Terna Amos&comma; who is the Benue State correspondent of the National Record Newspaper&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>According to the narratives&comma; the attack occurred on Tuesday at about 9&colon;pm along Naka-Makurdi road&comma; few kilometers from Makurdi&comma; the Benue state capital when the passengers who boarded vehicles from Otukpo to Makurdi&comma; ran into the robbery scene&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Aar further disclosed that the robbers successfully raped two female passengers in the operation which lasted for hours without any security intervention&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He said the robbers numbering about 10 also collected their phones and other valuables on them while threatening to kill anyone who do not have a handset or money on them&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>According to him&comma; the robbers maltreated some passengers who later begged for their sim cards&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He said&comma; &&num;8220&semi;We took off from Otukpo at about 7&colon;30pm because there was no passengers at the park because of the increment in transport fair as a result of the high cost of fuel&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;<a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;vanguardngr&period;com&sol;">So&comma; we were coming without any challenge until we saw a vehicle in front of us close to Adaka&comma; a village before Makurdi but we thought it was a security check point until we met the robbers<&sol;a>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He explained that it was at that point that the robbers struck&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>It would be recalled that Naka Divisional Police Officer &lpar;DPO&rpar;&comma; was ambushed and killed on the same road and there have been series of armed robbery scene and banditry attacks on the Naka-Makurdi road in recent times&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<figure id&equals;"attachment&lowbar;21493" aria-describedby&equals;"caption-attachment-21493" style&equals;"width&colon; 300px" class&equals;"wp-caption alignnone"><img class&equals;"size-medium wp-image-21493" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2023&sol;07&sol;Robbers-1-300x248&period;jpg" alt&equals;"Robbers Rape Female Passengers&comma; Attack Journalist On Makurdi-Otukpo Road Unchallenged" width&equals;"300" height&equals;"248" &sol;><figcaption id&equals;"caption-attachment-21493" class&equals;"wp-caption-text"><em><strong>Journalist&comma; Aar Terna Amos&comma; also a victim of the robbery<&sol;strong><&sol;em><&sol;figcaption><&sol;figure>&NewLine;
