Reverend Ejike Mbaka Releases Sketches Of His Blindness
OpenLife News reports that Catholic priest and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria, AMEN, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has released sketches of his blindness, describing what doctors called a medical and scientific mystery.
Mbaka, who disclosed this at the Passion Center in a video now circulating, said extensive ophthalmological examinations showed his eyes had deteriorated to total blindness, yet he can still see, read and walk without any assistance.
According to the cleric, the condition followed years of stress and sleeplessness, which forced him to undergo several tests with modern medical equipment.
He said the results shocked his doctors.“Doctors said my eye issue has reached the fifth or sixth level of blindness. Medically and scientifically, it is not possible for a man whose eye has reached that level to see, talk less of coming by himself,” Mbaka recounted.
He said the doctors had initially assumed that members of the Adoration Ministry brought him to the hospital as a blind man.“But I said, ‘No, I came by myself,” he said.
Mbaka said the disbelief deepened when he picked up his Bible and began to read clearly before the medical team.“I opened the pages of the Bible and started reading it. Are you telling me that the God of Adoration doesn’t exist?” he said.
The cleric said the doctors concluded that his sight could only be explained by divine intervention.“They said, ‘Except God has put new eyes.’ Yes, God has put new eyes,” he declared.
Releasing further sketches of the medical report, Mbaka said the findings were sent to a specialist in Los Angeles, Dr Chiogbu Chukwu, who through another specialist, Dr Scott, reportedly confirmed that both eyes were no longer medically functional.”Chiogbu confirmed through Dr Scott that, medically, scientifically, the two eyes are gone.
But I’m seeing with them. What then do you call miracle? I’m a beneficiary. I can now join you to give testimony,” Mbaka said.“How, I don’t know. I won’t tell you because I prayed so well or I fasted so well. No. Only God knew what He did,” he added.
Despite the miracle claim, the fiery priest cautioned worshippers not to abandon orthodox medicine for only prayers.“I will always ask you if you are sick. Don’t neglect the medical advice. Do not rely only on prayers. God created those people that are doctors.
“I believe in medical healing, even as I approve spiritual healing. However God does it, let Him be glorified,” he said.
Mbaka also thanked members of Adoration Ministry and supporters for their prayers, describing them as his strength.“Mbaka cannot play and be a keeper. Mbaka is like a football team with wingers, defenders, keeper and midfielder,” he said.
