Reasons I Am Different From Other Footballers—Senegalese Star, Sadio Mane

Reasons I am different from other footballers in Africa and the world

OpenLife Nigeria reports that Senegalese football sensation, Sadio Mane, has disclosed reasons he is quite different from other successful footballers across the globe.
The number 10 jersey star, who led the Lions of Teranga reign supreme in the AFCON 2022, emphasized that there is more to fulfillment than personal wealth.
He stated that the joy and happiness of others are his ultimate aim in life given his poor background.
Mane, who plays as a winger for Premier League club, Liverpool and the Senegal national team and finished fourth for the 2019 Ballon d’Or, said:
“I resisted hunger. I worked in the fields. I survived wars. I played football barefoot. I had no education and many more things. But today, with what I earn from football, I can help my people.
“I built schools, a hospital, I offer clothes, shoes, food to people living in extreme poverty.
“In addition, I give 70 euros per month to all people in a very poor region of Senegal.
“I don’t need to flaunt fancy cars, fancy villas, travel, let alone planes, I’d rather my people get a bit of what life has given me,” he said.
