<p>Railway Police Command has arrested rail vandals across railway outlets in Nigeria.</p>



<p><strong> </strong>The arrest is in line with the spirit and letters of Operation Puff Adder of the Inspector General Police, <a href="https://openlife.ng/">IGP Mohammed A. Adamu</a>.</p>



<p>The IGP’s operational code is aimed at nipping all criminal activities in the bud.</p>



<p>Accordingly, the Railway <a href="https://openlife.ng/">Police Command</a> has stepped up its game to getting rid of vandals all over railway infrastructures nationwide.</p>



<p>In a statement by the Command’s spokesman, Deputy Superintendent of Police Chris Umukoro, the reactivated efforts of the Railway Command  ;</p>



<p>has yielded positive results as several vandals who specialize in the act of vandalism have been arrested across the <a href="http://www.punchng.com">Divisions</a>.</p>



<p>The arrests, according to Umukoro were effected at Jos Railway Division where three male suspects were nabbed by officers and men of the Division.</p>



<p>The suspects are 28 years old Joseph Mark ; 29 years old Felix Monday Goyit, and 25 years old Emmanuel Japdung.</p>



<p>They all confessed to hail from  ;Jos South Local Government Area of  ;Plateau State.</p>



<p> The suspects who were arrested at Anglo Jos behind <a href="https://openlife.ng/">Nasco Company</a>, Jos, Plateau State, were in a tricycle with Reg. No. BUU 831 VC.</p>



<p>The tricycle was loaded with nine railway slippers, property of the Nigerian Railway Corporation.</p>

<p>In the same vein, officers and men of Osogbo Railway Division have arrested 23 years old Abdul Hamid and Mustapha Ilias.</p>



<p>They were arrested while vandalizing rail track by removing rail clips.</p>



<p>Exhibit recovered are two black bagco bags containing the rail iron clips along Ikirun area of Osun State.</p>



<p>Suspects have been arraigned in court.</p>



<p>Speaking, the Commissioner of Police, <a href="https://openlife.ng/">Eboka Friday</a>, warned vandals and other criminally minded individuals to desist from such act.</p>



<p>He warned that the command is ever ready to flush out such criminal elements from in and around railway installations.</p>



<p>He, therefore, solicits the cooperation of members of the public to volunteer useful information as the command cannot do it alone.</p>
