Rabiu Kwankwaso’s 2023 Error Taints His Defection To ADC As “Medicine After Death,”

OpenLife Nigeria reports that a business woman and social media educator, Progress Okuk, has described Engineer Rabiu Kwankwaso’s defection to the African Democratic Congress, ADC as grave error which would translate to nothing.
Technically, the Oron, Akwa Ibom State born but Abuja based fashion specialist sees Kwankwaso’s defection as “Medicine After Death.”
At the weekend, the former Kano State governor had announced that he visited ADC chieftain and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar at his Abuja residence where “We had a productive discussion aimed at forging a common front to reposition our dear nation on the right trajectory,” Kwankwaso disclosed.
This disclosure was variously interpreted in the political space as the final statement on his defection to the opposition ADC ahead 2027 general election.
However, a critical segment of the views by political surveyors implies that Kwankwaso has former President Obasanjo’s backing to be on the ballot for the 2027 presidential election on an Obi-Kwankwaso ticket in the ADC.

According to the views, this prompted Kwankwaso to conclude all consultations to dump his New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP and join the opposition ADC ahead of its presidential primary.
Reacting, Progress Okuk gave a contextual overview of Rabiu Kwankwaso’s strategies, saying that the decision to abdicate a 2023 alliance with Peter Obi was a misstep on his political journey.
Her analyses are reproduced below unedited

Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso had a chance to change history for good, by joining forces with Peter Obi to win an election that could have changed the trajectory of Nigeria’s politics forever!

His alliance with Peter Obi could have retired so many fraudulent old forces, and set Nigeria on a brighter future. But he chose condescension and pride.

He toed the path of the men before him, who didn’t think an Igbo man was deserving of the Presidency.

He, just like Atiku Abubakar, believed that the only thing good enough for an Igbo man and any South South person, was the office of the Vice President.

The audacity of any Northerner, to put themselves in the presidential contest of 2023, after Muhammad Buhari’s disastrous presidency, is still grating.

They did not anticipate the results of the 2023 elections, ever!

Kwankwaso’s alliance with the ADC now, is what we call “medicine after death”. It bears no relevant impact to the politics of next year.

Perhaps for 2031. Otherwise, 2027 belongs to the man who has worked more deliberately.

He may have been an awful President, but BAT is certainly a better and smarter politician. This is why his party will win the 2027 general elections.

You only have one chance to beat men like Tinubu; and when you have it, give it your best shot.

The opposition had that chance in 2023, and blew it.

PBAT is not GEJ.

Tinubu is the only Nigerian politician of this era with the skill to unseat a sitting president, without a coup.

To beat Tinubu at this game, you have to become Tinubu, or better.

So far, none of the actors I see in the coalition today, have the capacity to cause any disruption in 2027.

Again, Tinubu is not Jonathan.

Good luck, though.
