OpenLife Nigeria reports that a renowned Professor Babawale  Tunde would be the guest speaker at the Committee For The Defence Of Human Rights, CDHR, 2021 Annual General Conference,
The foremost Human Rights Organization in Nigeria, under the impressive leadership of its President, Dr. Osagie Obayuwana, has announced the dates for its Annual General Conference (AGC) for 2021. The CDHR Annual General Conference has been scheduled to hold on 22nd and 23rd of October, 2021 at its National Secretariat, the Rights House, No. 43 Adeniyi Jones Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos.
The theme of the AGC is “A Call to Service in a Troubled Nigeria”. This theme was drawn from the prevailing state of the Nigerian nation. The guest speaker is Prof Tunde Babawale.
Members from over 21 State Branches across the country are expected to attend the AGC.
The National Publicity Secretary of the foremost Human Rights Organization, Comrade (Barr) Henry Peter Ekine, in a statement made available to the media stated that the media, other Human Rights and Civil Society Organizations, as well as the public, are also expected to attend the AGC.
The high points of the AGC, 2021 shall be the election of new executives and the adoption of a new Constitution. Three delegates (Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer) from each branch shall constitute the electorates to elect the new executives.
CDHR remains committed to the promotion and defence of Human Rights of all citizens.
