Popular Islamic scholar, Shiekh Ahmad is dead [PHOTO]
Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Bamba, a respected Islamic cleric, is dead.
Ahmad Muhammad Ahmad, one of his sons, announced the cleric’s death on Facebook, on Friday.
He said the funeral prayer would hold at Darul Hadith Mosque, Tudun Yola, Kano metropolis by 1.30pm.
Presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad also reacted to the death of the Islamic scholar.
“Another huge and devastating loss. May Allah (SWA) accept and forgive all shortcomings of Sheikh Dr. Ahmad BUK (Bamba)”, he wrote on Facebook.
The Sheik’s death comes four days after that of Alhaji Bashir Tofa, also a prominent Kano indigene.
