Please, Enwo Igariwey, Allow Chief John Mbata To Act In Full Capacity—Honourable Jude Onyeabor, Founder Igbo Youth Awake

Please

OpenLife Nigeriareports that the founder of Igbo Youth Awake for Sustainable Development Initiative, IYASDI, Honourable Jude Onyeabor, in a fresh dimension, has recommended the setting up of reconciliation committee by Chief John Azuta Mbata, President General, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, to resolve pending issues in the Igbo apex socio-cultural organization.

He however, cautions against the inclusion of some leaders who have over stayed in the Ohanaeze Ndigbo leadership corridors

As a long standing member of Ohanaeze Ndigbo and founder of Igbo Youth Awake for Sustainable Development Initiative, IYASDI, what are those things you expect Chief John Azuta Mbata to do as a new President General to enhance the integrity of the socio-cultural organization?

Well, like I stated in my previous interviews, the emergence of Chief Senator John Azuta Mbata as the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, is one of the best things that have happened in Ohanaeze Ndigbo in recent history.

We, at the Igbo Youth Awake for Sustainable Development Initiative, IYASDI, have endorsed his administration.

Igbo Youth Awake

On the question about what he should do to enhance the integrity of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide, he should set up disciplinary and reconciliation committees to resolve all the crises in Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

The committees should be headed by neutral people if he wants to get good results. It should not be headed by those who have been there at the national headquarters over the years without results.

Secondary, what is Enwo Igariwey still doing in Ohanaeze Ndigbo by parading himself as a leader?
What did Enwo Igariwey achieve during his tenure as President General worldwide? Absolutely nothing. Not even a single achievement.

Then, why is he fronting himself as the best adviser to any President General that comes to office? Is he there to advise any president on how to share money in transit?

Former governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State who was building the national secretariat of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Enugu backed out because of in-fighting and mismanagement.

Even his governor then, Governor Martin Elechi of Ebonyi State said that over his dead body, he will never support Enwo Igariwey when he came out to contest.

These are people who know the character of Enwo Igariwey even as a young man. But people showed sympathy and voted for him to become President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide. The people who voted for him later got disappointed.

Professor Joe Nwogu was his secretary general. After all the time he wasted without achieving a single thing for Ndigbo, he is still moving round to control anyone who comes in as President General.

Now, I want to make it clear for Ndigbo: Enwo Igariwey must go away from Ohanaeze Ndigbo activities. His tendencies to impose decisions that are not healthy for Ohanaeze Ndigbo just for his selfish interest of making money must stop.

Honourable Jude Onyeabor, Founder, Igbo Youth Awake For Sustainable Development Initiative, wants Mbata to succeed

Chief Nnia Nwodo served and has left the stage. Deputy Inspector General of Police Hillary Okpara (retd) has served and left. Chief Damian Okeke-Ogene, one of the story tellers has served and gone.

Honourable Chief Alex Ogbonna, Chief Eric Ebe, professor Joe Nwogu and many others have all served and left.
What is Enwo Igariwey looking for? The most annoying part of it is that he doesn’t have leadership quality.

He conducted the election of late Professor George Obiozor as the electoral chairman which turned out to be the most controversial election in the history of Ohanaeze.

The one that is most painful is the Lagos election under Consent Judgement. Without doubt, Enwo Igariwey was only interested in the amount of money he was going to make from the election.

What he is trying to do now is to conduct another election in Lagos as the most experienced electoral officer in Ohanaeze Ndigbo and act as one of the leaders of Ime Obi.

If I may ask: What decision have they brought from Ime Obi that favours Ndigbo at large which he is using to parade and deceive people as a caucus member?

Please, Enwo Igariwey, God has given Ndigbo a leader. Allow Chief John Mbata to work. Give him a space. Stop pestering on him. When you were the President General, you were sick and people contributed money for your treatment abroad.

Now, give Chief Mbata a chance to act in full capacity. We want Mbata to succeed for the benefits of Ndigbo.
Mbata is not a kid that someone should be pushing around. This is a man who has served as a Senator. He has reputable companies.

Chief John Mbata, brings integrity to Ohanaeze Ndigbo leadership

He is an honest man. He is a man of integrity and a lawyer. We have never had such a vibrant President General. If Mbata fails, Enwo Igariwey is 70 percent responsible. I have been in Ohanaeze Ndigbo for years and I have held several positions. So, I know what I am saying.

There is a question I want to ask Enwo Igariwey: Who was pestering him when he was the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo? Who was following him up and down, telling him what to do?

The problem between him and his secretary general, Professor Joe Nwogu was that Enwo Igariwey was running a one man show government. So, who was monitoring him?
