Philip Shaibu Would have Escaped Impeachment

OpenLife Nigeria has gathered that Philip Shaibu, the immediate past deputy governor of Edo State would have escaped his impeachment if he had listened to spiritual warnings.

This disclosure was made Wednesday afternoon during a conversation with Prophet Great Ehiagwina, founder of the Rescuer Church of All Nations, RCAN.

Prophet Ehiagwina narrated that God revealed to him the unpleasant chapter that was going to happen to the former deputy governor’s political ventures long before he fell out with his boss, governor Godwin Obaseki.

“I started looking for ways and means to reach the deputy governor so that I can relate to him what God showed me but I could not.

“At a time, someone gave his number to me and I decided to send him a message about what God revealed was going to happen to him but I did not get any response,” Prophet Ehiagwina narrated.

When asked if he would have been able to stop the impeachment had Philip Shaibu seen him, Prophet Ehiagwina responded in the affirmative saying:

“You see, there is nothing God cannot do. When God reveals something to His prophet, it implies that God Himself has prepared to solve the problem only if the person concerned does what he has been asked to do.

“God reveals to redeem. God would have guided Philip Shaibu through prayers and probably fasting to escape the impeachment,” the Uromi, Edo State based Prophet, who started the Ministry three years ago, disclosed.

It would be recalled that Philip Shaibu was impeached on Monday, April 8, 2024 by the Edo State House of Assembly.

The impeachment  followed the adoption of the report of a seven-man panel set up by the Chief Judge to probe him for alleged perjury and leaking government’s secrets.

Meanwhile, the impeached deputy governor has written to the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, to obtain a complaint form to file a formal petition against the Chief Judge of Edo, Justice Daniel Okungbowa.
