Peller Announces Tour Across Nigeria
OpenLife Nigeria reports that Nigerian TikTok sensation Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has announced an ambitious nationwide tour across 19 states, signaling a major step in his journey from viral content creator to live entertainer. The tour, revealed via his Instagram page, aims to bring his dynamic content and performances directly to fans across Nigeria.
The tour will kick off in Ibadan, Oyo State, and will move through Osun, Ekiti, Ogun, Ondo, Kogi, Kano, Kaduna, Abuja, and Borno. Other stops include Edo, Port Harcourt, Imo, Abia, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Enugu, Niger, and Ebonyi.
Peller noted that this is only the first leg of the tour, writing,
“These are the states I will be touring. If your state is not here, you will have to wait for part two,”
promising that additional states will be added in the next phase of the tour.

The announcement follows a widely publicised episode earlier this year involving American streaming star Darren Jason Watkins Jr., known as IShowSpeed, who conducted his “Speed Does Africa” livestream tour across multiple African countries.
During his Nigeria stop, IShowSpeed streamed live from Lagos streets, drawing massive crowds and hitting 50 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. Peller reportedly attempted to meet and collaborate with IShowSpeed during this visit, but his efforts were blocked by the streamer’s security team.
In a moment that captured fans’ attention, Peller chased IShowSpeed’s convoy on horseback, hoping to get noticed, but was unable to secure a meeting. Reflecting on the experience, he shared his frustration:
“Bouncer dey tell me say make I bring N1 million to see IShowSpeed. Imagine. Na so e dey collect money from the remaining people. You wicked oh. Una do me strong thing. Make I bring N1m to see IShowSpeed for what reason?”
This setback highlighted the challenges local creators sometimes face in connecting with international stars, even as Peller’s fanbase continues to grow.
