PDP will bounce back in Ogun—Oyejide

&NewLine;<p><&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The Acting Publicity&NewLine;Secretary of the Ogun State chapter of &nbsp&semi;Peoples Democratic Party &lpar;PDP&rpar; Mr&period;&NewLine;Olasunkanmi Oyejide&comma; has expressed confidence that the party would regain its&NewLine;lost glory&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>He said with the&NewLine;purposeful leadership being given to the party at various levels&comma; the lost&NewLine;glory would be restored sooner than later&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>He stated this while speaking&NewLine;at the party secretariat in Abeokuta&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;Oyejide said the&NewLine;inroad the PDP made into the North during the 2019 general elections was a&NewLine;pointer to the bright future that awaits the party&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>He said it was&NewLine;gratifying that the Supreme Court&comma; which is the final court in the land&comma; had&NewLine;resolved the issue of the Ogun State PDP in favour of the Engr&period; Adebayo&NewLine;Dayo-led State Executive&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;&&num;8220&semi;I strongly&NewLine;believe that useful lessons have been learnt on all sides&comma; ahead of the&NewLine;preparations for the party congresses in 2020&&num;8221&semi;&comma; he added&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Olusunkanmi said that&NewLine;the party will leave no stone unturned to bring back &&num;8220&semi;ts lost sheep&&num;8221&semi;&comma;&NewLine;and ensure a smooth congresses from the ward to the national levels&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;PDP remains the&NewLine;largest party in Africa&period; We belong to the top&period; And very soon&comma; we shall return&NewLine;to the summit&period;Consultations are on going at various levels&period; We have learnt from&NewLine;our past mistakes and will not want to repeat them again&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;In Ogun State&comma;&NewLine;the Engr&period; Adebayo Dayo-led executive committee and critical stakeholders of the&NewLine;party are meeting on regular basis&period; We have identified most of the problems we&NewLine;had in the last general election and they are being addressed&period; We have resolved&NewLine;to put the round pegs in &nbsp&semi;the round holes&comma; going forward&period; While others are&NewLine;switching and gallivanting&comma; we are strategising&period; The mission to return PDP to&NewLine;its winning ways is on&comma;&&num;8221&semi; Oyejide added&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
