Passengers Applaud Benue Links GM Over Transformational Initiatives

By Austin Atondu, Makurdi

OpenLife Nigeria reports that passengers trooping to Benue Links Nigeria Limited to board vehicles to travel to various parts of Nigeria have described the Acting General Manager of the Stated owned company, Mr. Alexander Fanafa as a round peg in a round hole.

The acting General Manager received the passengers’ commendations for embarking on reconstructive projects, especially the erosion prone point of entry in less than two months.

Mr. Ekon Elisha, from Edo state told OpenLife Correspondent that he has been traveling on Benue Links transport for the past twenty years and this is the first time a workaholic General Manager is appointed to manage for the overall good of the State and travelers at large.

“As you can see, it is always impossible to enter Benue Links during raining season because heavy rain water always block the entrance gate and it becomes difficult for passengers to cross the water to the park to travel.

“Now, as you can see, the new GM assumed office not too long and is working tirelessly to put a permanent end to the flood that always engulf Benue Links when it rains by constructing a gigantic culvert that will be controlling the water. Surprisingly, this is made possible within the period of less than 2 months under the watch of Mr. Alexander Fanafa. In other words, he is the man wey sabi” Elisha maintained.

Mrs. Cicilia Agada also said that what many GM’s of Benue Links could not do in several years, the Acting General Manager is doing in less than two months. She appealed to Governor Alia to confirm the Acting GM to be the substantive General Manager of the transport company for more development to be recorded.

One Aloysius Ginga also stated that when a task is giving to the right person, results are inevitable.

OpenLife reports that as of the time he visited Benue Links Nigeria Limited, work was seriously on going at the gate.
