Tinubu and Osinbajo
OpenLife Nigeria reports that an aspirant who has officially declared his interest in Nigeria’s 2023 presidency, Chief Dele Momodu, has described Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and the national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as failures.
He anchored his argument on the grounds of the inability of the duo to elevate the socio-economic and political relevance of the South West in the past seven years despite their high positions in government and governance.
Dele Momodu spoke on AIT live programme Tuesday morning.
While expanding his scope of argument, Momodu said he still has tremendous respects for both Osinbajo and Tinubu but grossly disappointed in them for being “swuirmish and timid” and not being able to speak up when things have practically gone bad in the country.
He explained that he has no regret eulogizing the duo in the past through the instrumentality of his editorial outings due largely to their credentials.
However, Momodu stressed that he is yet to fathom the reason Osinbajo and Tinubu have decided to keep mute in the face of growing facism given that they demonstrated courage against former President Obasanjo’s fiscal onslaught.
The media entrepreneur noted that as far as the two South West foremost leaders have failed to lead the war against tyranny in the front, they are failures and therefore, undeserving of 2023 electoral rewards.
“They abandoned the people,” he stated adding that his presidential aspiration is resonating round the world and shaping the 2023 conversations.
He submitted that he has the capacity to lead Nigeria if considered by the voters
