OpenLife Nigeria reports that Oluseun Ayankola, a technocrat, socialite and fervent advocate for human rights, is set to mark his 50th birthday.
The Ibarapa,Oyo State born expert in project impact evaluation in development and non-governmental organizations will be 50 on April 26.
However, in a heartfelt departure from traditional birthday revelries, Ayankola has made a resolute decision for low-key celebrations as against any grandiose arrangement in his honor in the upcoming milestone.
In an official statement released by his media consultant, Barrister Yinka Odede, Ayankola has called on his associates and well-wishers to refrain from organizing any elaborate festivities on his behalf.
Instead, Ayankola reaffirms his steadfast commitment to humanitarian service by repositioning an empowered community.
According to the statement, Ayankola has progressed in the cause of basic amenities, human rights, and sustainable empowerment through a consolidated three-pronged approach focusing on Education, Health, and Agriculture, under the auspices of the iCare initiative—a non-governmental organization where he proudly serves as Board Chairman.
“Not that I have much. But with what God has graciously pushed my way as the Executive Chairman of InfometriQs Global Consulting Limited (IGCL), I want to exemplify excellence in the non-governmental and development sectors, particularly within the healthcare sphere.
“I am committed to becoming a beacon of hope in my Ibarapa community, Oyo State, South West and indeed, in Nigeria’s developmental space,” the first degree holder in Statistics with master’s in Information Technology, promised.
He therefore calls on friends and well-wishers who wish to express their supports to visit www.iCare.org.ng for contributions towards the noble humanitarian goal.
