<p>The Government of Ogun State and International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) officially sealed partnership for Agricultural Intervention activities in the State at the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony held at IITA Headquarters in Ibadan.</p>



<p>The partnership, among other things, would achieve delivery of improved planting materials, technical backstopping for the establishment of demonstration farms for youth focused Agricultural projects and Agricultural value chain training of youths in Ogun State. ;</p>



<p>This is in line with the State Government’s resolve to actualize the State Agricultural Agenda of Food Security, Job Creation and Income for youths and smallholder farmers in Ogun State. ;</p>



<p>The IITA team, led by the Director General Dr. Saginga Nteranya, had the Director of Advocacy and Country Alignment Function, Dr Kwesi Atta-Krah, renowned Consultant Agronomists Prof Lateef Sanni and Dr. Richard Okechukwu, and other Management Staff of IITA in attendance. ;</p>



<p>the Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Adeola Odedina, comprised of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Agriculture, Dr. Angel Kuye, Permanent Secretary, Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. Dotun Sorunke; Director of Administration, Director of Agricultural Services; Programme Manager, Ogun State Cassava Revolution Programme; Programme Manager, Ogun State Agricultural Development Programme, and the Principal of Odeda Farm Institute, Ogun State.</p>
