NollyWood Star steps up

OpenLife Nigeria can confirm that Regina Askia, a Nollywood star has upgraded. And this is directly from the horse’s mouth.
The Nollywood star and 1989 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, had dazzled in the make belief industry to the admiration of all in the late 90s and early 2000 before seeking greener pastures in the United States of America.
Now a Nurse practitioner in the United States, Regina is not leaving any stone unturned to hug the spotlight in the medical industry just the way she excelled in the movie and entertainment world.
In her post, the model, healthcare practitioner educational activist, television producer, writer, and public speaker wrote on her status upgrade in the health care sector saying:
“This week, I assumed a new role as a provider in the Pre-Surgical Test Unit of an Ophthalmology practice.”
The Nollywood star added that her new role in the medical field is a “ Bigger platform and bigger responsibility.”
She stressed further that as a fellow who is always committed to any assigned responsibility, she is nonetheless going to let her employers down maintaining that “I am excited at the opportunity and I look forward to bringing my best to this position to secure better health outcomes for our patients.”

Born Imaobong Regina Askia Usoro in Lagos on December 16, 1967, Regina started off in life leaving no one in doubt that she came into the world to succeed.
After obtaining a degree from the University of Calabar and marriage was not as smooth as she expected, Regina moved out of her comforting Nollywood zone and got married to Rudolph Rudy Williams, a black American entertainer and the grandson of Fees Williams and the nephew of Ron Everette.
The duo got married whiles in America and has been married for 18 years now. Their union has produced two children.
