<p><strong><a href="https://openlife.ng/">OpenLife Nigeria</a></strong> reports that a leading Nollywood actress and wife of Senator Ned Nwoko, Regina Daniels, has threatened to expose the husband if the Senator does not mend his ways.</p>
<p>The actress, who has been at the centre of a marriage crisis that has played out publicly over the last week, lashed out at the senator’s insistence that she enter rehab.</p>
<p>The Nollywood actress, accused her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of masterminding the arrest of her elder brother and sister to coerce her into returning home and submitting to a rehabilitation programme.</p>
<p>“<em><strong>Someone pls help me! I feel like I’m losing my mind,”</strong> </em>Regina wrote in a string of emotional Instagram stories that were widely shared online on Monday evening.</p>

<p>She continued: “I <em><strong>never thought I would do this but my big brother and big sister have been arrested, my baby sister might be arrested soon as well until I return and according to him, return to rehab.”</strong></em></p>
<p>“<em><strong>Don’t even get me started on telling the world what you did to me with your stupid rehab talk! You said I’m a drug addict… </strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>&#8220;What other name can you call me? A prostitute? But I will speak on that one day and tell the world of your involvement with everything!”</strong></em></p>

<p>Regina’s posts painted a picture of personal despair and humiliation</p>

<p>“<em><strong>I’m trying, I’m really trying to be the bigger person by not saying or doing anything… Leave my family alone Ned! And leave me alone too!</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>&#8220;It is obvious it’s war! And a big shame that the beautiful but short legacy we built is about to be ridiculed by the whole world.”</strong></em></p>

<p>She also appealed to followers for sympathy, describing herself as “a hard girl” reduced to tears: “<em><strong>This is so freaking embarrassing! Hard girl like me crying.”</strong></em></p>
<p>Confirming Regina’s claim, her elder brother, who posts as Sir.Sammywest on Instagram, wrote on his story: “<em><strong>Dem say dem na Ned send dem. Currently at Ogombo station,”</strong></em> signalling that the siblings were in police custody at the Ogombo police station.</p>
<p>The latest allegations come against the backdrop of earlier claims by Senator Ned Nwoko that Regina is battling drug and alcohol addiction, a contention he laid out in a public statement titled, “<em><strong>Regina’s Unprovoked Carnage And Rampage In My House And In My Absence.”</strong></em></p>

<p>In that statement, the Delta North lawmaker described what he called “<em><strong>violent behaviour and erratic conduct</strong></em>” by Regina.</p>

<p>The lawmaker said she must continue a rehabilitation programme or he fears for her life and safety.</p>
<p>He said he had proposed rehab either in Asokoro, Abuja, or abroad — specifically naming Jordan — where, he alleged, she would not have access to substances.</p>

<p>Before this, there had been viral video showing Regina in visible distress, surrounded by relatives and aides, at one point fainting and crying that she “<em><strong>can’t stand the violence”,</strong></em> had fuelled public concern.</p>
<p>In that footage she was heard saying: <em><strong>“In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my own house, I am a Queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.”</strong></em></p>
