Nigerian Governor Increases Civil Servants Monthly Wages

OpenLife Nigeria reports that a Nigerian governor, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has announced the increase of the monthly wages of civil servants in the State.
The governor who is the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC is on the 2023 ballot for a second tenure in office.
The governor made the disclosure on Tuesday at the State Government secretariat while addressing civil servants barley 36 hours after Nigeria marked its 62 independence from colonialism
The governor assured that he has already instructed the relevant financial regulatory agencies in the state to work out the figures for immediate implementation.
