<p><strong><a href="https://openlife.ng/">OpenLife Nigeria</a></strong> reports that a Nigerian governor, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has announced the increase of the monthly wages of civil servants in the State.<br />
The governor who is the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC is on the 2023 ballot for a second tenure in office.<br />
The governor made the disclosure on Tuesday at the <a href="https://www.thisdaylive.com/">State Government</a> secretariat while addressing civil servants barley 36 hours after Nigeria marked its 62 independence from colonialism<br />
The governor assured that he has already instructed the relevant financial regulatory agencies in the state to work out the figures for immediate implementation.<br />
