Ordinary Nigerians Will Be NDC’s Highest Stakeholders Through 2027 Crowdfunding, No Room For Moneybags Hijackers – Osa Director
OpenLife News reports that the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, has said that the party would win 2027 presidential contest by a wide margin.
Barrister Osa Director, National Publicity Secretary of the party dropped this hint Friday afternoon during a brief meeting with OpenLife.
He explained that the party is determined to ensure that no polling unit is left uncovered across the 176,846 official polling units nationwide.
“This is not like Obi’s 2023 election. This time Obi is contesting on NDC platform and we are making arrangments to cover all the polling units. Nobody can rig NDC out in 2027. We are ready,” Osa Director said.
He pointed out that the initiative, though traditional in any election, is part of NDC’s numerous plans towards 2027, noting that elections in Nigeria are won or lost at the polling units.
It would be recalled that one of the major setbacks for Peter Obi in the 2023 presidential election under Labour Party platform was the inability of the party to deploy polling agents to critical mass of polling units across the country especially in North-West, North-East and parts of South-West.
“2027 is going to be different. No polling unit in any part of Nigeria will be left uncovered. Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso have already hit the ground running and they are well received all over the country.
“Their recent visit to Sokoto State and other geo political zones yielded evidence of total acceptance of NDC and their candidature,” Osa Director stated.
