MOUN Central Working Committee Members Round Off Leadership Training At Micheal Imoudu National Institute For Labour Studies

<h4>MOUN Central Working Committee Members<&sol;h4>&NewLine;<p><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;"><strong>OpenLife<&sol;strong> <strong>Nigeria<&sol;strong><&sol;a> reports that members of Central working committee&comma; CWC&comma; of Motorcycle Operators Union of Nigeria&comma; MOUN&comma; have rounded off a leadership training&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The training programme was organised by the Micheal Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies&comma; Ilorin&comma; Kwara State&period; The training begun on January 24 and ended on January 26&comma; 2024&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>According to a statement from the Motor Cycle Operators Union which was made available to <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;vanguardngr&period;com&sol;">OpenLife<&sol;a>&comma; the theme of the training was <strong>&&num;8220&semi;Organizing and Leadership Skills Development For Effective Trade Unionism In An Era Of Renewed Hope Agenda&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The training which contained 10 sessions and involved Trade Unionism and improvement of transportation system standards in Nigeria&comma; started with the registration of participants and opening ceremony by singing solidarity songs followed by the introduction of all participants &period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>First to introduce herself was the coordinator&comma; B&period;O Alaya&comma; followed by the President of the union&comma; Alhaj Olusola Rasak Sotayo and General Secretary&comma; Comrade Ade Ikuesan and other members of the CWC&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>After the solidarity songs and introduction by the participants&comma; the coordinator introduced the Director General&comma; DG of the Institute&comma; Comrade Isa Aremu who gave a welcome address&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Comrade Aremu&comma; in his address&comma; appreciated all participants and the lecturers&period; He recognised the President and the General Secretary and expressed confidence in the quality of the lecturers in the Institute&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Comrade Aremu called for unity and practice of democratic principles in any decision making as well as adoption of social dialogues in the management of critical issues&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Participants were also taught right work attitudes for members of MOUN including work dress code in line with the established philosophy that there is dignity in labour&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Contribution to one of the sessions&comma; the President of the Union&comma; Alhaj Olusola Rasak Sotayo stated clearly that Okada&comma; as its popularly called&comma; is one of the sectors that provide employment and put food on peoples’ table in Nigeria&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He frown at those who hide under the operation of Okada to commit crimes&period; He called on government to work with the union so that bad elements within its circle will be exposed and death with&comma; accordingly&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Participants were presented with a certificate by the Director&comma; M&period;J&period; Raji&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>President Sotayo however&comma; used the training opportunity to meet some members of the union in Ilorin and advised them to be law abiding citizens and motor cycle operators&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He advised them not to engage in criminal activities that will dent the image and integrity of the association&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;He offered prayers and encouraged them to remain united&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<figure id&equals;"attachment&lowbar;23956" aria-describedby&equals;"caption-attachment-23956" style&equals;"width&colon; 283px" class&equals;"wp-caption alignnone"><img class&equals;"size-medium wp-image-23956" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2024&sol;02&sol;Ade-283x300&period;jpg" alt&equals;" MOUN Central Working Committee Members Round Off Leadership Training At Micheal Imoudu National Institute For Labour Studies " width&equals;"283" height&equals;"300" &sol;><figcaption id&equals;"caption-attachment-23956" class&equals;"wp-caption-text"><em><strong>MOUN General Secretary&comma; Comrade Ade Ikuesan<&sol;strong><&sol;em><&sol;figcaption><&sol;figure>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
