OpenLife reports that media personality Mayowa Lambe has escalated her dispute with her ex-husband Roby Ekpo by issuing a formal cease and desist notice, accusing him of spreading what she describes as false and damaging statements about her.
In the notice, Mayowa firmly rejected the narrative being circulated about their past relationship, insisting that the claims do not reflect reality. She stated that the connection between them is over and clarified that there is no ongoing marital relationship of any kind.
According to her, the information being shared publicly is not only misleading but also contradicted by verifiable evidence in her possession. She maintained that the situation has reached a point where legal intervention has become necessary.
The demands outlined in the notice are direct and uncompromising. She called for an immediate end to all statements she considers defamatory, as well as the removal of any content already published that she believes misrepresents her.
Mayowa also requested a formal public retraction and apology from her ex-husband, stressing that the correction of the narrative is essential. In addition to this, she is seeking financial compensation, with a demand set at N100,000,000 in damages over what she described as reputational harm.
The notice further stated that Roby Ekpo has a strict 48-hour window to comply with all listed demands. It warned that failure to do so would result in immediate legal proceedings without any further communication or warning.
The development adds another layer to the ongoing public attention surrounding both individuals, whose past relationship has continued to generate discussion following interviews, online reactions, and resurfaced content.
As it stands, the situation has shifted from online commentary to a formal legal confrontation, with both sides now under closer public and legal scrutiny.
