<p><strong>Unknown gunmen have attacked the convoy of senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, <a href="http://Openlife.ng">Ifeanyi Ubah</a>.</strong></p>
<p>The attack reportedly happened on Sunday at Enugwu-Ukwu community in Njikoka local government area of Anambra State.</p>
<p>A yet-to-be identified number of his aides including Police operatives were killed.</p>
<p>Sources said the gunmen opened fire on the convoy, and police operatives in the convoyed responded, but about six policemen were gunned down.</p>

<p>A video of the attack showed the lifeless bodies of murdered policemen in about four of the vehicles in the convoy of the federal lawmaker.</p>
<p>The spokesperson of the Enugu State police command, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the attack.</p>
