Many dead as gunmen attack Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s convoy (VIDEO)

Unknown gunmen have attacked the convoy of senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Ifeanyi Ubah.

The attack reportedly happened on Sunday at Enugwu-Ukwu community in Njikoka local government area of Anambra State.

A yet-to-be identified number of his aides including Police operatives were killed.

Sources said the gunmen opened fire on the convoy, and police operatives in the convoyed responded, but about six policemen were gunned down.

IPOB Declares Public Holiday, Total Lockdown

A video of the attack showed the lifeless bodies of murdered policemen in about four of the vehicles in the convoy of the federal lawmaker.

The spokesperson of the Enugu State police command, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the attack.
