Lagos Ohanaeze Ndigbo Crises Put To Rest By Chief Azuta Mbata

OpenLife Nigeria reports that peace has fully returned to Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos following the intervention of Chief Azuta Mbata, President General, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, who brokered a truce during the week in Lagos and requested disagreeing groups to work with Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos, for complete harmony in line with his administrative mantra

Sir, we heard that Chief Azuta Mbata, President General, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, held meeting with Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos at Black Diamond Hotel, Victoria Island where the Lagos chapter crises was put to rest. Can you give insight into what transpired?

Well, I give the glory to God Almighty because for Chief Azuta Mbata, President General, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide to take the right decision after the whole character assassination of my name, blackmailing for many years.
But the irony of it all is that 99 percent of the accusations against me was fake and their lies against me are sweeter than the truth of anyone who tried to defend me.

So they are very dangerous my media brother. Chief Mbata has repeated King Solomon’s judgement in the Bible.
In that judgement, two women were fighting over ownership of a child. One said, cut the living child into two. The other woman said no, give it to her and when the child grows up he will now the mother.

Then, King Solomon used his wisdom to confirm the true owner of the child. That is exactly what Mbata is today in Igbo leadership. He is the King Solomon of our time.

It is not because he is a lawyer. It is because of the quality of his leadership and his executives who accompanied him to Lagos.
One thing you have to realize is that there are some people who say there is no God but the Almighty still allows them to live.

That is the same way I am going to carry every Ohanaeze Ndigbo member along. It is now I will show Chief Mbata that he has a capacity President in Lagos. I have already agreed that I am going to conduct election even earlier than the extension Chief Mbata and court gave me.

Those who came in few months ago to join Ohanaeze Ndigbo and claiming that they are the ones sponsoring Ohanaeze and even gave Ohanaeze secretariat, what more lies do you want to hear again?

Chief Mbata, thank you very much sir for studying everybody’s statement and came up with the truth.
Chief Mbata has proved that he is a quality leader and cannot be deceived by sugar coated mouths, no matter how you present it.
Chief Mbata is a man of few words but always yields results. Ndigbo has gotten a leader.

We have so many elder statesmen and leaders in Lagos but they lack leadership qualities because they only hear from one side and even present the case by themselves without considering what it will result.

That is why some Igbo organizations are not holding meetings till date and have lost their quality from 100 percent down to 30 percent. Example is Ndigbo Lagos. This is because, I , Chief Solomon brought Ohanaeze up above every other organization as the parent body of any association that belongs to Ndigbo.

That is the offence I committed in Ndigbo Lagos. Their presidency tenure is four years but the current president has spent over 7 years and Ohanaeze Ndigbo is not intervening to avoid causing crises in their club.

Chief, Senator, John Azuta Mbata, God will continue to bless you not because of my victory but because of your truthfulness.
No human being profile can intimidate Chief Mbata when he is on the seat of justice.

The profile could be a General or Field Marshal, or owner of all the estates in Lagos or first Professor in Nigeria, they are all null and void when Chief Mbata stands on justice. He is a born leader. Ndigbo have gotten it right.

Now that the PG has confirmed your leadership and you will be attending NEC meetings in Enugu, what is next?

I have already set up an electoral committee that will conduct election to elect fresh executives. Very soon, the chairman of the electoral committee, Chief Oliver Akabueze {Mmiri} will issue a statement and campaigns will begin.

This victory is not just for me and my executives, it is a victory for all peace loving people and friends of Ndigbo all over the world.
Notably, the celebration of this victory will hold on Saturday, August 30 at Ohanaeze Ndigbo Secretariat, 19b, James Robertson Street, Surulere, Lagos.

That event will also serve as the venue for the installation of Nna Ndigbo Lagos, High Chief Livinus Okpara.
This victory, all the glory goes to Almighty God.
