Lagos Businessman, Chinedu Okafor In Trouble Over Alleged Fake Eagle Aromatic Schnapps Manufacturing

<h4>Lagos Businessman<&sol;h4>&NewLine;<h4><&sol;h4>&NewLine;<p><strong><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">OpenLife Nigeria<&sol;a><&sol;strong> reports that a Lagos businessman&comma; Chinedu Okafor trading under the name and style of Sky Blue Company&comma; alleged to have been manufacturing unwholesome products to with&colon; Eagle Aromatic Schnapps and other sundry products&comma; has been arraigned before a Federal High Court in Lagos by NAFDAC&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>In an eight count charge filed before the court by the National Agency for Food Drug and Administrative Control&comma; NAFDAC Prosecuting counsel&comma; Barrister B&period;Simon&comma;it was stated in the charge that Chinedu Okafor&comma; Male&comma; 40 Years old&comma; of<a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;vanguardngr&period;com&sol;"> No&period; 4&comma; 1&&num;8243&semi; MTN Road&comma; Badagry&comma; Lagos<&sol;a> on or about the 26th April&comma; 2024&comma; at the above named address&comma; within the jurisdiction of the Court&comma; was found in possession of unwholesome processed food to wit&colon;-Apple Multi-fruit Juice Wine&comma; Eagle Aromatic Schnapps and Lord&&num;8217&semi;s Gin and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 1&lpar;c&rpar; of the Counterfeit and Fake Drug and Unwholesome Processed Food &lpar;Miscellaneous Provisions&rpar; Act&comma; Cap&period; C34&comma; Law of Federation&comma; 2004 and punishable under Section 3 of the same Act&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Chinedu Okafor&comma; same time and place was also alleged to have manufactured processed food to wit&colon;-Apple Multi-fruit Juice Wine&comma; Eagle Aromatic Schnapps and Lord&&num;8217&semi;s Gin&comma; without registration and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 1&lpar;1&rpar; of the Food&comma;Drugs and Related Products &lpar;Registration&comma; ETC&rpar; Act&comma; Cap&period; F33&comma; LFN&comma; 2004 and punishable under Sections 6 and 8 of the same Act&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The defendant was also alleged to have engaged in distribution of the unwholesome products manufactured by him&period; The unwholesome products was alleged to have been manufactured under unsanitary condition&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;The defendant pleaded not guilty&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Consequently&comma; the presiding Judge&comma;Justice Lewis Allagoa&comma;while adjourning till 10th of July&comma;2024 for the trial of the defendant to commence&comma; ordered that the defendant should be remanded in the custody of Correctional Services&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
