<h4>Lagos APC Makes Strategic Move To Remain In Power<&sol;h4>&NewLine;<p><strong><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">OpenLife Nigeria<&sol;a><&sol;strong> reports that the ruling All Progressives Congress&comma; APC in Lagos State has made a strategic move not only to deliver the state to APC in 2027 but to remain in power through the ballot&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>To achieve this&comma; the Lagos State chapter has announced a N20 million prize for the local government that recorded highest number of newly registered voters in the ongoing registration exercise reports&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>In 2023&comma; Lagos had 7&comma;060&comma;195<br &sol;>&NewLine;as total number of registered voters of which 3&comma;256&comma;799 were female&comma; representing 46&period;1 percent and 3&comma;803&comma;396 were males&comma; representing 53&period;9percent&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Given what transpired in the last general election in which Labour Party&comma; LP defeated APC in the state&comma; the Chairman of the party in the state&comma; Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi has decided to deploy strategic ways of having reasonable number of registered voters loyal to the party&comma; using incentives&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The chairman disclosed this on Tuesday&comma; 21 October&comma; 2025 during the Stakeholders’ Forum of the party going on at the Eko Hotels and Suites&comma; Lagos&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Ojelabi stated that the party has put everything in place for smooth registration calling on all members of the party to go out and mobilise people to register&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Ojelabi also announced that the Ward with the highest number newly registered voters will get a N5 million cash prize&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Ojelabi stated further that the party is not leaving anything to chance in mobilising people to register and collect their PVCs&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
