OpenLife News reports that the 2026 edition of Kofi Owusu Peprah Live brought thousands of believers together at the forecourt of ICGC Evangel Temple, New Dawhenya on Saturday, August 15, 2026 for a night of worship, praise and thanksgiving.
The annual gospel gathering attracted Christians from across the country who turned up in their numbers to celebrate their faith through music and prayer.
By the time the main programme started, the venue had filled up with individuals, families, young people and church groups ready for an evening of gospel music.
The atmosphere remained vibrant throughout the night as worshippers raised their hands, sang, danced and prayed together.
Headlining the event, Minister Kofi Owusu Peprah delivered a powerful performance that had the crowd singing along and worshipping through his set. Known for his energetic delivery and worship-centred songs, he led the gathering into what he described as “every time is worship time.”
Also ministering on the night was Team Eternity. The group brought an exciting dimension to the programme with an energetic performance that had many young people on their feet.
Enuonyam also took the stage with a refreshing gospel ministration, while Pastor Sammie Obeng Poku combined ministry and music as he engaged the congregation.
Every Time Is Worship Time
Speaking after the event, Kofi Owusu Peprah expressed gratitude to God and paid tribute to his late father, Rev. George Owusu Mensah, for shaping his journey as a gospel musician.
“First of all, the Almighty God deserves all the praise and honour. Not forgetting the vigorous role my late beloved dad played in my journey as a gospel musician.”
Rev. George Owusu Mensah was also the composer of the popular gospel song “Matwen.”
The gospel artiste said his personal slogan, “Every time is worship time,” is a reminder that worship should not be limited to church services or concerts, but should be part of daily life.
“Worship should not be limited to church services or special gospel events but should become part of the believer’s everyday life.”
Kofi Owusu Peprah also encouraged Christians to support the work of God, saying greater commitment to gospel ministry will help take the message of Christ beyond Ghana and across the world.
For many attendees, the gathering was more than a concert. It was a time to give thanks, seek God’s presence and fellowship with other believers.
With the impressive turnout and ministrations, Kofi Owusu Peprah Live 2026 ended on a high note, leaving worshippers with memories of an evening centred on worship, thanksgiving and God’s goodness.
