OpenLife Nigeria reports that things may look better for the United States of America as Joe Biden takes oath of office Wednesday, January 20.
In a well attended but pandemic complied social distancing event at the Capitol Hill, Joe Biden, during his inaugural speech, vowed to confront American challenges in line with the founding fathers starting from George Washington.
“We will confront internal terrorism and we will defeat them,” he said.
The newly sworn-in 46th President of the
United States is 78 years old. He defeated former president Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election. He is a member of the Democratic Party.
Joe Biden had served as the 47th vice president from 2009 to 2017 under former President Barack Obama.
